From the East:

From I-68, take exit 43.  Turn left on Park Street.  Turn left at light on Williams Street.  Turn right on Maryland Avenue.  Turn left on Oldtown Road.  Turn right on Pennsylvania Avenue.  The library will be on the right.

From the West:

From I-68, take exit 43 (Maryland Avenue).  At light, turn left onto Williams Street and then quick right onto Maryland Avenue.  Turn left on Oldtown Road.  Turn right on Pennsylvania Avenue.  The library will be on the right.

    Conveniently located in a residential area, the South Cumberland Library opened its doors on December 12, 1982.  Once located in a classroom at Pennsylvania Avenue School, and then a two room building on Virginia Avenue, the current beautiful brick building was constructed to meet the growing needs of local citizens.

 

    The South Cumberland Library has many services to offer, including books and magazines for adults and children, a large print collection, and books on tape.  In addition, the library has weekly children's programs and free internet access.   

 

    The library also has a meeting room available for group use.  Please contact a librarian for more information or to book a reservation.
