Conveniently located in a residential area, the South Cumberland Library opened
its doors on December 12, 1982. Once located in a classroom at
Pennsylvania Avenue School, and then a two room building on Virginia Avenue, the
current beautiful brick building was constructed to meet the growing needs of
local citizens.
The South Cumberland Library has many services to offer, including books and
magazines for adults and children, a large print collection, video games, DVDs,
music, and audio books. In addition, the library has weekly children's programs,
public computers and free
internet access.
The library also has a meeting room available for group use. Please
contact a librarian for more information or to book a reservation.
