Contributions, Memorials and Donations

The Allegany County Public Library System has benefited from the generosity of countless individuals and groups who have donated to our libraries.  Contributions can be made in several ways, including:

	Gift books
	Memorials in the name of a friend or loved one
	Favorites you would like to share
	Monetary donation

Used Book Donations

Did you ever wonder what you can do with all of those books you have accumulating in your home?  

The Allegany County Public Library System will be happy to accept used book donations of good quality at any of our branches.   We ask that books be clean and in good condition.  Any books that cannot be added to our collection will be sold, and the proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase library materials.  

Books can be dropped off at any of our locations during hours of operation.  Please do not leave book donations outside when we are closed.
